Sales and Business Development:

  • participating in the sales process with business and technical expertise;
  • proactively leading communication with prospects, recognizing decision-makers, and asking the right questions to properly understand their needs;
  • spotting promising and compatible project opportunities, and incrementally building sales pipeline;
  • collaborating across product design and development teams, gathering and studying requirements, identifying challenges, and working out solutions;
  • buiding clients through early-stage project scoping and estimation process;
  • developing value propositions, preparing tailored proposals, and pitching Azure Data services to clients;
  • negotiating project budgets and timelines, and recommending best-suited cooperation models;
  • sealing deals and arranging the execution of paperwork and invoicing;
  • introducing the delivery team and handing work over to project managers;
  • nurturing long-term client relationships and identifying extra opportunities;
  • building relationships and close cooperation with the client, project manager, and business area experts to implement projects effectively.

Competence Center Development:

  • developing the Competence Center internal/external skills and expertise;
  • recognition and assessment of new technologies, tools, and software in the area of data processing in terms of use within the organization and projects carried out for clients.

Obowiązki:

Must-have:

  • 5+ years of experience in area of data processing in Azure (BI/DWH/BigData);
  • 3 years of experience working in the software development space, as a part of a sales or product design/delivery team, 1+ year in supporting role in pre-sales/sales processes;
  • knowledge of one of the project management methodologies: SCRUM / PMI (knowledge of SCRUM is especially welcome);
  • confidence in speaking with decision-makers and experience in guiding them through their procurement process;
  • an ability and experience to qualify sales deals in order to decide which prospects to invest your time and focus on;
  • excellent organizational skills, allowing you to effortlessly navigate through multiple concurrent threads and set the right priorities;
  • experience with Cloud data processing based on MS Azure (Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks, etc.);
  • high personal culture and skills in building business relationships;
  • high level of responsibility and analytical skills Independence in action and focus on achieving goals;
  • fluent English (min C1 level).

Nice-to-have

  • experience in Big Data technology stack (Apache Hadoop, Kafka, Flink, Cloudera, etc.);
  • experience in Data Visualization area (BI or Dashboards toolset);
  • experience in Advanced Data Analytics (ML/AI, Predictive Analytics, Data Science);
  • familiar with DataOps approach;
  • programing skills (SQL, Python, Spark, Scala or other);
  • knowledge about design and architecture patterns (Lambda, Kappa, Fast-Data, etc.);
  • being familiar with Data Governance foundations (e.g. DAMA-DMBOK);
  • willingness to support the sales process by participating in conferences and business meetings;
  • presentation skills for business decision makers and C-Level executives.
